Silver cup from the Deutsche Hof Hotel in Nuremberg. This served as Hitler’s hotel and headquarters for the Nuremberg party rallies and became synonymous with Hitler. Originally named the Hotel Deutscher Hof, it was purchased by the NSDAP in 1935 and renamed Der Deutsche Hof. It underwent renovations including a balcony to allow Hitler to review parades. Included in the renovation was the new design of the silver service. The hotel was closed in 2008 but is still in existence.
