Schloss Klessheim Table Napkin-This napkin is produced in damask (a sateen weave) and measures 35×35 cm. One corner has the initials “S K” machine embroidered in white cloth. This example has a plain field, with a wide stripe around the inside edge. Around this stripe, the napkin is, perforated giving this a touch of elegance.
Schloss Klessheim:
In the near vicinity of Salzburg, the former Palace Klessheim served as a diplomatic center when Hitler was in residence at the Berghof. Long known as the source of the of the diplomatic orders such as the Eagle Order in the collector realm, Schloss Klessheim also hosted receptions and had living quarters for visiting diplomats.
