  • Reichs Kanzlei

This lot comes from the personal collection of Bill Shea and is fully documented on pages 996 and 997 of Volume III of the book series THE STORIES BEHIND THE TREASURES OF WWII “The Birth of a Compulsive Collector.” The lot consists of two blocks of beautiful red marble collected from Hitler’s office in the RK, two original photographs of “tourists” entering Hitler’s bunker and the RK in Berlin in 1947, and a sworn statement written by Helen Estock, who collected these items while working in Berlin in 1948 and 1949. This is a historic lot.
