Aluminum letter opener, 16 cm long, reading at the top ‘Hotel Kaiserhof Berlin Hotel Atlantic Hamburg’. Slightly damaged at the bottom from use, else very good. Hotel Kaiserhof was a luxury hotel in Wilhelmplatz, Berlin, Germany, located next to the Reich Chancellery. Hitler lived there for a time and Joseph Goebbels, Ernst Rohm, and other Nazi officials met there as Hitler was being sworn in as Chancellor. Hermann Goring was married at the Kaiserhof as well. The hotel was utterly destroyed by the end of the war.
