EAGLE’S NEST FORMAL DINING ROOM CHAIR
After Berchtesgaden’s capture in early May 1945, locals were quick to plunder Hitler’s residencies.
Along with food and other provisions, many took household objects and furniture – including this formal chair from the Eagle’s Nest dining room.
This example was re-covered in the post war years.
This chair comes from the personal collection of the D.Griffith author of the book” Collector’s Guide to Liberated Adolf Hitler Memorabilia” only reference book on the memorabilia of Adolf Hitler, the chair will be present on the new book that will be released soon.
