Here is a book from Adolf Hitler’s personal library, removed from the Berghof by a local resident after the war.
A hard cover book titled “Das Antlitz des Führers or “The Face of the Führers” that measures approximately 19.5cm x 27cm. The book’s editor is “Professor Heinrich Hoffmann” with the foreword written by Baldur von Schirach. The book was published by “Zeitgeschichte-Verlag, Wilhelm Andermann, Berlin” with a copyright of 1939. The book consists of 38 pages that contain black and white photograph portraits of Adolf Hitler from 1919 through to 1939.
The first page bears the label Ex libris in printed paper, 3 1/2 ″ x 4 ″, with the inscription: “Ex Libris Adolf Hitler” (“From the Library of Adolf Hitler”). The ex libris bears a monochrome image of an eagle and a swastika on an oak branch.
