Categories

SOLD,SOLD,SOLD Rare Adolf Hitler Dinner fork with block A over H flatware from the Berghof by maker Caroso.

Measures fork 21,5 cm

This fork was recovered from the underground bomb shelter of the Berghof. The Berghof was Hitler’s home on the Obersalzberg mountain near Berchtesgaden. This knife along with many other items was “released” in May 1945 by an American soldier named Stan Griffith of the 79th hunting group. He is the United States veteran pictured giving a Hitler salute on Hitler’s silver book that was written by his son Mark Griffith. This book is Hitler’s only true silver guide and is explained in the book. Hitler’s items were the ultimate war trophy for US soldiers.
